Events

Parkside sponsors and participates in a number of events throughout the year. Some popular annual events include a Halloween party, a holiday party, the Garden Tour, the Tour of Homes, and the Summer Arts program for children.

March Events

• Saturday, March 23: 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Plantasia Garden Show. Lunch to follow; reduced tickets are available at Wegman's. Meet at the Church of the Good Shepherd. Call 877-8989 to reserve. Sponsored by the Parkside Garden Club.

October Events

• October 16: Safe Shopping Workshop for Senior Citizens
  North Buffalo Community Center, 10:30 a.m.
• October 18, 19, 25, 26: The Howloween Hay Ride at the Zoo. For more information, call 837-3907, ext. 116 or 112, or visit the Zoo's web site: http://www.buffalozoo.org/
• October 20: Chicken barbeque, 12:00 noon to 6 p.m., St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, 401 Woodward. Purchase tickets at the rectory.
• October 31: Parkside Halloween Party. 5:30 - 7:00 p.m., Church of the Good Shepherd

November Events

• November 2: St. Mark's Annual Raffle, 8:00 p.m., St. Mark's. Call 836-1600 for more information.
• November 19: Parkside Annual Meeting, 6:00 p.m. Location TBA.

December Events

• December 6: Parkside Holiday Gala, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Greater Buffalo Savings Bank (on Main Street, across from Jewett Parkway)
