Membership Committee PageThe Parkside Community Association is looking for YOU! We hope that you will join our association and that you will find your membership rewarding, knowing that you are helping maintain and better our remarkable historical treasure of a neighborhood. We are lucky to reside in an area that offers such great diversity with neighbors from all walks of life. We pride ourselves in this fact and our mission is to advocate, communicate, and act on behalf of the Parkside neighborhood to preserve and enhance the quality of life. We are working to make YOUR quality of life better. With the economy forcing government grants to be eliminated, we need membership more than ever. Many of our neighbors are not aware of the services that our association offers. We are behind the scene strategizing traffic surveys, reducing crime, assisting neighbors in maintaining their homes, creating community events, providing services to the elderly, implementing Block Clubs, and creating a network of neighborly support. Parkside Community Association also aids in showcasing and promoting the history of Buffalo by offering our annual home tour. In addition, we offer the opportunity to have a plaque on your home that signifies the centennial birthdays of each home. All of the PCA offerings are made possible by the membership donations, fundraisers, and an annual appeal. So please consider joining so we can continue these services and enhance our services. Aside from assisting in making your neighborhood the best it can be, membership also provides various additional benefits. Many businesses offer a discounts rate to our members, including (but not limited to): alarm systems, construction companies, glass block windows, yoga, salons, landscaping, wine, hardware, restaurants, and more! We strongly encourage you to review the annual membership levels and choose one to join. If you would like to do more than join, we have numerous opportunities for you to get involved in a committee as well. We hope to hear from you and look forward to your membership!
Membership dollars are used to support the valuable work of the Parkside Community Association, which has a proud history of serving the neighborhood for 48 years.
